Founder Story – Zeenat Sheikh

Voices of LZur was founded by Zeenat Sheikh—a beauty professional, entrepreneur, and survivor whose journey through pain, addiction, and healing led her to discover a deeper purpose: helping women who feel lost, broken, or unseen rediscover their strength. For more than seven years, Zeenat lived through a chapter defined by severe health challenges and constant physical pain. Multiple surgeries, including knee and spinal procedures, left her physically depleted and emotionally exhausted. What began as prescribed pain management slowly turned into dependency. The medications that were meant to heal her began to control her life.

Trapped in a cycle of pain, recovery, and addiction, she reached a point where the weight of it all felt unbearable. There were moments she believed there was no way out—moments where she prayed for the pain to end.

Everything changed in an instant. A fire in her home destroyed the medications she had relied on. Rushed to the hospital, she was faced with a reality she could no longer ignore—doctors revealed that the level of medication in her system was dangerously extreme. In that moment, she was forced to confront the truth: her life was at risk.

Determined to break free, Zeenat made the difficult decision to enter rehabilitation. At first, she resisted. She wanted to leave. But something unexpected began to unfold.
She began to see others.

Instead of focusing on herself, Zeenat began pouring into them—encouraging, listening, and reminding them they still had value. And in doing so, something shifted. For the first time in years, she felt something she had lost:

Purpose.

During her recovery, she faced another life-threatening moment—an accidental overdose that left her fighting for her life. But in that moment, everything became clear. The woman who once prayed for death realized she wasn’t ready to die. She thought of her son. Her family. Her unfinished life. And when she survived, one sentence changed everything: “You were meant to live for a bigger purpose. God had kept you alive for a bigger reason” After leaving rehabilitation, women began finding her—one after another. Women struggling with abandonment, addiction, trauma, and loss. Women who hadn’t spoken to her in years, yet somehow knew to reach out. Each time she helped someone, her purpose became clearer. That purpose became Voices of LZur—a movement dedicated to helping women rebuild, heal, and rediscover their worth through self-care, support, and empowerment. But Zeenat knew purpose alone wasn’t enough.

So she created LZur—not just as a beauty brand, but as a mission. Every product was crafted with intention, designed to heal, restore, and empower—while generating funds to support the work of Voices of LZur. She expanded that vision through Haircraft, a luxury hair extension brand rooted in transformation and confidence. Through Haircraft, Zeenat is committed to creating wigs and providing hair solutions for women experiencing hair loss, including cancer patients—helping them feel like themselves again during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Because she understands something deeply:
Healing isn’t just physical.

There was a time Zeenat felt like nobody

Invisible. Broken. Lost in a life she didn’t recognize. And that is exactly why she refused to stay there. Because she realized something most people never do— if she could rise from that place… then other women could too. Zeenat didn’t just want to heal. She felt a responsibility to be the voice for women who couldn’t yet find their own. To show them—through her life—that healing is possible. That no matter how far you’ve fallen, you can rebuild.

That you are not defined by your pain, your past, or your darkest moments. She knew she couldn’t just say it. She had to become it. That is why she pushed herself to build— to create, to grow, to succeed beyond what anyone expected. Not for validation. But for proof. Proof that a woman can go from broken… to powerful.

From surviving… to leading. From silence… to becoming a voice for others. Through Voices of LZur, she stands for every woman who feels alone. Through LZur, she creates healing through beauty.

Through Haircraft, she restores confidence to women who have lost a part of themselves. Because this is bigger than business.
This is about showing women:
You will heal.
You will rise.
You will become more than you ever imagined. And she is living proof that it is possible
